A huge AMEN to this, Stephen. Because I love you, my friend, I have to wish you and your husband a resounding "Happy Anniversary!" But that said, I feel exactly the same way as you do and cannot shake this pervasive feeling of doom. I don't know how people walk around smiling and laughing and acting as if everything is "business as usual." Our country is going down the toilet and us with it. I cannot conceive of what life will be like if the bastard wins. The crowing! The bragging! More hate-filled rhetoric. And where can we escape to? No one wants us.
