What can one say about Jan Sebastian 🖐👩🦰 other than the woman is the epitome of a badass?
She has candidly and humorously shared stories of her colorful life before and after experiencing a stroke which affected both her speech and mobility. I venture to guess that many of us in the same situation would spiral into self-pity and self-imposed isolation.
Not Jan! She is making determined steps toward recovery and taking us along with her in stories that are wickedly funny, uplifting, and always entertaining. She is, after all, the Emoji Queen and I don’t know how she does it! Please read the following Hoisted story and you’ll know what I mean.
In a time when not crossing paths with a maniac armed with an assault rifle is cause for celebration, Jan is an inspiration who reminds us that every moment is precious and that life should be lived with as much gusto as we can dredge up.
