It has definitely run roughshod through my family. My cousin died of multiple myeloma a year and a half ago. She was 60. Both my parents were diagnosed with stage four lung cancer at the same time eight years ago, two months before my own breast cancer diagnosis. I was fortunate that it was caught early. They were not and died within three weeks of one another nine months later.
