I’m Too “Adult” for NewsBreak
And I don’t need a spanking
My personal history has proven that I can be a bit of a masochist. Take my return to NewsBreak, for example.
I wasn’t planning to once again beat my head against the NB wall until I read several stories by writers who don’t suck and who shared that the platform is serving them well, financially.
So, even though I didn’t, and still don’t agree with NB's overt censorship, and left in a huff, I decided to give it another shot, strictly for the cash.
I was encouraged by another NB writer who also writes here. She is excellent at her craft and moreover, a true human being. Exceedingly kind and generous. She’s been trying to help me navigate what I believe is a platform run by Nazis. Or a Nazi-esque algorithm. Who knows? I certainly don’t as actual people don’t seem to run anything, anymore. We’re at the mercy of bots and heaven help us if we don’t bend to their liking. As in bend down and take it up the rear.
From my previous foray into NB, I’d learned that uber-conservative posts do best, while liberal spewings from writers like me tanked as soon as they were published IF they were published.
