It bugs me, too, frankly. And I never read her as I'm fairly she wouldn't put in the time to read me.

I've been here three and a half years, so my rise hasn't exactly been "mercurial," but what I can tell you is this: It's very important to engage with your readers and other writers. Yes, it takes time, but it's necessary and worth it. I've actually stopped reading people who don't engage or who don't bother to read me, back. Screw 'em.
