Janet, this is so heartbreaking and I am terribly sorry. All I can say is that it seems that, especially these days, so many families are fractured. Some, beyond repair, others, hopefully not. For me, I have a brother with whom I haven't seen or spoken to in seven years. I hope that you and your son are able to forge a new and stronger relationship.
