No, I did not know that. And that is terribly sad. However, I don’t understand what that has to do with “correcting” one’s features so that they’re unrecognizable in comparison to what one really looks like. And that is sad, as well.
It does take enormous guts to get in front of a camera considering Ms. Hunt’s challenges, but perhaps she’d be in front of even more cameras if she looked more like herself. Look at Meg Ryan’s career, and Melanie Griffith’s, for example, two women who essentially screwed their careers by screwing with their looks to a very weird degree.
