Oh, lord, Marilyn, your beautifully-written and poignant story really got to me. I don't even know what to say other than, how do we fail our own people? Older women living on the streets! As an "older woman," this scared the hell out of me, but also makes me think, as I'm sure it will for others. Thank you for writing.
