Shannon, although I’ve never experienced earning a living wage here as you have, and am still struggling to understand why, as I believe I am a “unique voice,” I agree with everything you’ve laid out. Like you. I’ve been writing on Medium since 2018, and I am beyond frustrated. And, so tired. I don’t see any positive changes on the horizon, anytime soon. I now look at this as an exercise while I work on personal projects.
