Even though technically it is not, because anyone can write here, I choose to think of Medium as a “professional’ platform. And, when I see poorly-written stories, lauded, that gives me cause for concern.

But to your point, maybe the better adjective would be “lazy.” As in lazy writers don’t deserve to be here.
