The conclusion is this: The black women I know, and who I have the privilege of seeing on the big and small screens, and, whose work I've read, or read about, and who I see in the market or the drugstore or other public venues--IN MY OPINION--have greater self-esteem and a kind of aura that makes be believe that they are a hell of a lot more comfortable in their own skin, than the women I wrote about.
