To Those of You Who’ve Become a Friend of Medium, Thank You
I’m not down with it, but I’m not a jerk
Yes, I’ve slammed the latest initiative here on The Medium Show, the episode called “Friend of Medium” but after discovering that several of the people I consider to be my friends have shelled out the extra bucks and gone along with this latest stunt, I feel bad about my crusty words.
Not too bad, mind you, but sufficiently cowed to let you kind and generous folks know that I appreciate you.
Let me repeat that. This charity case appreciates you.
I’m being facetious, but for those of you who refuse to pay up, either on principle or because you can’t afford the extra ten bucks a month, does it feel like that to you?
Come on, now. Speak up because Sherry’s space is a safe one and you can be brutally honest. Is this charity or goodwill on the part of the Friends of Medium? And, what’s the difference?
Perhaps it’s a bit of both. And, that’s okay.
