Sheik reaches over and slams a top down on the container.
Nick’s eyes start to stream.
NICK
Hoo boy, you weren’t kidding about the heat.
Nick wipes his eyes and leans into the cart. He scans the interior.
NICK
Nice setup -
But he’s holding up the line.
GUY IN LINE
Hey — put it in an email dude!
CUT TO:
INT. MC CANN KITCHEN — DAY
Humming, Ellie walks in and tosses her coat and bag on a chair.
Lucy wanders in. Ellie scoops her up and gives her a kiss.
ELLIE
Mommy got a job today!
Ellie pulls a bottle of wine from the fridge, looks at it for a beat, then puts it back.
She leaves the room and we hear the sound of a running bath.
CUT TO:
MC CANN BATHROOM — LATE AFTERNOON
Ellie pours bubbling bath oil into the tub and lights a scented candle.
She removes her robe and wraps it around her body, leaving her arms and shoulders bare. She stands in front of the mirror, assessing.
ELLIE
(lifting one arm and jiggling it)
Hi.
(then the other arm)
Bye.
She lets the robe fall and steps into the tub, sliding down into the warm, bubbly water.
