If it IS you, no harm intended. People can screw who they want. Shit happens. I get it. I take more offense at the milking of a topic over and over and over again. Except for something like mental health, for example, which spans a huge range of situations.

But again, as I mentioned in the story, if the readers are gonna eat it up, then milk away!
